The Akdital Group announces the completion of the acquisition of the International Polyclinic of Laayoune and Al Hikma Medical Center, following the agreement of the Competition Council of’.
Le Akdital Group continues its dynamics of’ expansion by announcing the finalization of the’acquisition of two major medical structures in Laayouneafter the’accord of Council of Competition. It is’ the International Polyclinic of Laayoune and du al Hikma Medical Center, now integrated into the group’s national network. This operation, now closed, brings to 11 the number of regions covered by Akdital and reinforces the’ care offer in the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region.
Al Hikma Medical Center, a multidisciplinary 76-bed facility, is d’ores and already operational under the management of’Akdital. It offers a complete range of services including medical consultations, analyses, radiology and surgical procedures.
For its part, the International Polyclinic of Laayoune will begin its activities from May 2, 2025. With a capacity of 240 beds,’ will cover a wide range of medical specialties: cardiology, oncology (medical and radiotherapy), neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, gynecology-obstetrics, sports medicine, internal medicine, among others. It will operate 24/24 and 7/7, aiming to become a major medical reference in the South of the Kingdom.
With this dual implementation, the group consolidates its commitment to the’equitable access to care throughout the Moroccan territory, in support of the objectives of generalization of the’Mandatory Health Insurance (AMO). This expansion responds to the growing needs of the population for quality care, close and multidisciplinary, especially in developing areas.
Present in 21 cities of the Kingdom, Akdital is the leader of the private sector of health in Morocco. Its network includes 36 care facilities and a total capacity of 4,148 beds, with more than 7,500 employees mobilized.
